The Canada Pacific Trials Association Cascade Trial took place on Blue Mountain in east Maple Ridge, BC.  Don Doerksen with other club members have developed some challenging sections and trails in this riding area that lies just south east of Alouette Lake.  The expert loop visited a lookout on the mountain top while the juniors had a much easier day riding a shorter but challenging loop.  Several days of rain preceeded the event but Sunday morning revealed blue skies and warm, pleasant weather.  There was plenty of mud, slippery roots and logs to make the sections interesting.  You can find results on the CPTA website.  You can find that link on my homepage.
